Entry requirements

Apprentices must be employed in a relevant role and meet the entry requirements of the apprenticeship standard. Level 3 programmes typically require a Level 2 qualification or relevant experience, while Level 4 programmes normally require a Level 3 qualification or substantial industry experience. English and maths requirements apply.

Initial assessment

All applicants will complete an initial assessment to confirm suitability for the programme. This may include:

  • A review of prior qualifications and experience
  • English and maths assessments
  • A discussion with the learner and employer to ensure the apprenticeship is the right route
