Entry requirements

HNC programmes are designed for candidates who are looking to develop their technical knowledge and progress within the construction and built environment sector.

Applicants will normally have one or more of the following:

  • A Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject (such as a BTEC, A Level, T Level, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent)
  • Relevant industry experience within construction or the built environment
  • Appropriate employer support where the programme is being undertaken alongside employment

Applicants should have a reasonable standard of written English and numeracy to support academic study and assessment at Level 4.

Where applicants do not meet the standard entry requirements, individual applications will be considered based on prior learning, experience, and potential to succeed.
